We’ve had quite a demand for entertainment at weddings recently. From the hidden fun of comedy waiters to full on Shakespeare dinner theatre around the wedding breakfast, it seems people want to really do something different on their special day. We even have a call to create a full fight scene with stunt performers for a James Bond themed wedding! We have to brief the Groom to rescue his Bride from the evil bad guy and his high kicking henchmen! Such enormous fun! As well as having provided a full medieval theme for weddings at amazing venues like Peckforton Castle, including the Lord Chamberlain and his daughter to host the day and two knights who fight for a ladies honour, it really is an enjoyable experience for us as well as the wedding party, creating an atmosphere to entertain and all the while remembering that the real stars are the Bride & groom.
It’s not just for weddings with a large budget either, happy couples have hired us just to add some extra sparkle providing meet and greet characters, storytellers for children and even a Midsummer Nights Dream themed drinks reception.
The show may not run for years in the West End or be a blockbuster movie but we always treat it as if it were and bring our consummate professionalism to each job we undertake.
